Everything about Android Neko

Hi Everyone!

Let me introduce about Android Neko. As you know, every Android version had an Easter Egg, Android N also has a hidden Easter Egg named as Neko. Neko is a game which can be found on Play Store. It’s about collecting cats. The game added in Android has very less features than original game.

How to enable Neko?

Here are the steps:

  1. Open Settings > About Phone > Press about seven times on Android Version. You’ll see a shape of N.
  2. Press it about seven times. You’ll see a small Cat icon below N. Or, you’ll see a blocking sign. If you see blocking sign, long press again.
  3. Now, Open Notification Drawer. Click on Edit. Now, drag Easter Egg Tile into Quick Settings Panel.

Finally, you’ve enabled it. Game will be present in Quick Settings always.

How to play Neko?

Here are the steps:

  1. Open Notification drawer > Quick settings.
  2. Click on Empty Dish. Select one from Bits, Fish, Chicken and Treat. After few time, a notification will appear as “A cat is here.” Click on that you will see your collection. Long pressing any cat will give two options: to remove it or to share it. You can see your collection anytime by long pressing Empty Dish.
  3. Now, about the four options: namely Bits, Fish, Chicken and Treat. By selecting Bits, cat will appear quicker but of common nature. Selecting Treat, Cat will appear late but will be rare.

Collect cats and enjoy.

How to disable game?

Here are the steps:

  1. Open Settings > About Phone > Press about seven times on Android Version. You’ll see a shape of N.
  2. Press it about seven times. You’ll see a blocking sign. Game is disabled, although Empty Dish will be present in Notification Drawer.
