Google Assistant is a personal assistant which does many things without touching the phone. It interacts with you and new personal commands can also be added to it, which we will see later.
There are different methods available on internet, however, I will explain the best and which I have tested and have seemed to work till now.
Before I begin I want to clear that I take no credit for any of the files created or modded and appropriate devs will be credited.
- Download three files from this link
- Place all three files in root of Internal Storage
- Boot into recovery
- Flash GoogleAssistantBuildProp.zip
- Flash GoogleAssistantVelvet.zip
- Wipe caches and reboot
That was all guys to get assistant in Nougat
Getting Assistant in Marshmallow is bit complex than Nougat. However, it can be done.
- You must have Xposed Framework installed
- Install Assistant Enabler module
- Open Assistant Enabler and enable Assistant
There are build.prop tweaks available on internet. Its basically done by methods described above.
Add or replace these lines from your build.prop file
ro.product.model=Pixel XL ro.opa.eligible_device=true
All the readers who don’t know about build.prop file, its a file in /system/ whichcan be accessed by any Root File Explorer.
If above methods doesn’t work or you have some new method, let me know in comments.
